Customer Services Executive

The above position has arisen within our team reporting to the Account Director.  Supporting the Commercial function on short, medium and long-term management of customer service levels from forecast to delivery – ensure smooth, transparent and efficient delivery across both internal and external measures

Responsibilities will include:

  • • Responsible for demand planning and forecasting with a link to inventory planning, ensuring maximum delivery into the customer
  • • Working collaboratively to lead, facilitate and strengthen the S&OP process, agreeing and leading action plans to improve/smoothen the process
  • • Define, implement and review communication links, processes and procedures – with a view to a more proactive, efficient and transparent natural work flow with both internal and external supply chain teams 
  • • Presenting a weekly & monthly summary of both internal and external supply chain success, challenges and actions – including analysis on promotions, events and initiatives
  • • Build and maintain effective relationships internally, with the team and externally with suppliers – agreeing and developing ongoing proactive plan
  • • Co-Ordinate NPD, Promotional Activity, Christmas Execution and Seasonal forecast impacts with both internal and external customers 
  • • Acting as the link between Commercial team & the Operations team 
  • • Oversee the Customer Assistants in the commercial function to ensure that all instructions and actions from the internal and external supply chain and commercial are adhered to in full, in regard to daily admin requirements, SAP and BW management
  • • Develop proactive plans/projects in line with both internal and external customer expectations, focussing on supplier accuracy, availability and waste management

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • • A multi tasker with proven project management experience
  • • Good communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • • Ability to work within a dynamic and challenging environment
  • • Numerate and computer literate with a proven ability using MS Office together with a recognised advanced PC skill
  • • Experience and knowledge of SAP core enterprise would be advantageous
  • • Ability to follow instruction under supervision and be a team player
  • • High Attention to detail always
